Taekwondo Xmas Party & Awards

On Wednesday 23rd December the Coin Taekwondo club and Cobra Taekwondo (ES) clubs held a joint christmas party in Coin, Costa Del Sol to celebrate Taekwondo training through 2015 and the working relationship between both clubs with ITF and WTF working jointly to develop Taekwondo.

The evening was a pleasurable evening with a meal, drinks and much discussion of taekwondo training and how much students have developed throughout the year.

The following awards were presented on the evening:-

2015 Student of the Year - Calypso Jackson (Cobra Taekwondo ES)

2015 Most Improved Student - Travis Ashton (Coin Taekwondo)

Master Colin also presented Travis with the appointment of Assistant to aid him with developing the division of the IMA working with special needs and helping martial artists with special needs to progress in their training, and educate instructors into understanding the needs for those people who have special needs or disabilities.

Master Colin was also presented with Doctorate in Martial Sciences from the IMA presented by Soke Mike Vamplew the IMA World President and Founder.

Both clubs look forward to developing taekwondo further in 2016 in Spain.
