Universal Shotokan Karate-Do Association West Bengal team (India)
After two days of restless competition in Bengal, India the Universal Shotokan Karate-Do Association of West Bengal team performed brilliantly in their Open National Championships and bagged 6 gold medals, 7 silver medals, 4 bronze medals.
This tournament was held in Garia, West bengal on 23rd and 24th January 2016. The name of our participants who bagged different medals in this championship are:- 1) Raghav Sharma - BRONZE in kata. 2) Imon Mandal - BRONZE in kata 3) Ahana Chakraborty - SILVER in kata 4) Shanti Kumari Choudhary - GOLD in kata, Silver in Kumite and SILVER in team kata 5) Pushkar Nath Dubey - SILVER in kata, SILVER in kumite, SILVER in team kata and GOLD in team kumite 6) Hemukunda Choudhary - Bronze in kata, GOLD in kumite, GOLD in team kumite 7) Pratik Seal - BRONZE in kata, SILVER in team kata, GOLD in kumite and GOLD in team kumite.
In this tournament Pratik Seal was awarded "THE BEST FIGHTER AWARD" by SHIHAN S.S.HARICHANDAN.
